About us
Max graduated with Honours from the University of the West of England and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) as well as the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
Max is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt, a petrolhead, a keen skier and a very mediocre ex-amateur rugby player. He believes keeping fit and healthy is important and is a regular gym goer who enjoys almost every form of strength training from CrossFit to Powerlifting.
Max has previously worked within the NHS in Wiltshire where he gained a broad range of experience and training in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions. His NHS experience varied from arthritis management and joint replacement rehabilitation, to the treatment of complex spinal patients and chronic pain, as well as both sports and occupational injury treatment. Max then worked for 'The Medical' in Bristol, a large award-winning Private Healthcare Service where he worked alongside Doctors, Chiropractors and Osteopaths. This close work with both Medical and Musculoskeletal clinicians allowed Max to develop skills in spinal manipulation and imaging referral. Max has worked with professional athletes in Football, Rugby, Cricket, Cycling, Water Polo, Triathlon and much more, and previously maintained Kings Hill Football Club's 1st Team.
Max moved back to Kent and started on his own in 2019 and is proud to have built Kings Hill Physiotherapy Centre into the premier musculoskeletal clinic in Tonbridge and Malling having the most 5-star Reviews for over a 15-mile radius. Over the last 5 years, Max has helped over 3,000 people get out of pain and back to what they love doing.
At Kings Hill Physiotherapy Centre we take a holistic, evidence-based approach to the assessment and management of the musculoskeletal system. Max prides himself in his ability to explain conditions and symptoms and believes that education is a key factor in physiotherapy treatment, in combination with best practice hands-on therapy and exercise prescription.
